Stressed out Have you ever been so stressed or tired that you just lost your Mojo for a while?

Your get up and go, has got up and went!! (One of my dad’s sayings, sorry!)

I really experienced that recently.

I am just like you guys out there. I am living a busy life and sometimes, just keeping up with everything that is going on is draining!

My husband and I have 2 businesses, that we have been really pushing hard to get growth and more profits, we have 3 small kids that are not sleeping well at the moment, and I can’t even remember the time when I sat on the couch and just watched TV without being on the computer working too!

Life is constant, sometimes very stressful, and really taxing!

I normally handle it very well, but over the last few days, I had been in a slump.

I didn’t want to work on our businesses, I didn’t want to think about connecting with anyone, I was short tempered with our kids, my husband took one look and ducked and I just didn’t want to do anything.

All I could think about was that I have not had full nights sleep for at least a month now, if I guess, and it is a guess, because I don’t remember!

All I could think about was having everyone go away, letting me sleep, sit on the couch, watch what I wanted, eat chocolate and just CHILL.

So I did just that and got my mojo back!!

All it took was a glass of wine, a jar of Nutella and a spoon, British X Factor, some tissues and watching people lay it all on the line. Who knew?!!

Everyone was in bed. I was supposed to work on our next product, but instead I set myself up with everything I listed above and through watching others chase their dreams, give it their all, some win and some lose, I realized how good I have it and a lack of sleep just clouded that for a while.

So here are some tips for you to try, so that you may also be blessed enough to really see the big picture and get your mojo back.

  1. Give yourself permission to stop and relax.
  2. Let go of the guilt that you feel by stopping. It does not serve you.
  3. Surround yourself with some of your favorite things.
  4. Shift your focus from yourself onto something you enjoy.
  5. Breathe and just be.

Have a laugh. Get some exercise. Listen to music. Cook something. Sit in nature. Hug a pet. Chat to someone. Meditate. Drink wine. Whatever makes your soul sing, is what you should do.

Give yourself that gift. You are worth it and you deserve it.
